She co-founded elevatED Studios because she believes meaningful transformation happens when passionate educators come together to imagine, design, and create something better. Her work is fueled by a simple conviction: Every learner deserves an extraordinary learning experience - one that equips them for success in today’s world.

Lacey Eckels has spent her career asking a question that challenges how we think about school improvement: What if we stopped adding more and started designing better? A former middle school science teacher, instructional coach, and district leader, she’s seen firsthand how even the best ideas can get lost between big visions and everyday realities. As co-founder of elevatED Studios, she works alongside school and district leaders to question inherited practices, rethink the systems shaping learning, and turn ambitious ideas into small, doable design shifts that make school more vibrant for learners and educators alike.

Rachel Albright believes learning should be something students and educators genuinely love being part of. From teaching English to leading transformation efforts across Kentucky, she's spent her career noticing the gap between what school is and what it could be, asking, "What if we tried something different?" As co-founder of elevatED Studios, she meets educators where they are and works alongside them to turn that question into change that feels exciting, possible, and worthwhile.
